Reviews and Ratings
After a long drive to and through Wawa, the hotel was a happy sight with clean rooms that met my needs. The friendly service made the stay enjoyable, but the room facilities could use more than just a lock upgrade. The convenient location right off the highway was a plus for our travels, despite some issues with the room amenities. The dining experience was not as good as expected for the price paid, but overall, I found the stay decent and the value for money reasonable.
I stayed in a room on the ground floor without a balcony as initially indicated. The room had a door that locked properly, clean sheets, and towels. It was a fair size, but the carpet and furniture definitely need an upgrade. The staff were helpful and friendly, even switching our rooms when needed, which was appreciated. They were accommodating despite the discrepancy in bed sizes. The location wasn't ideal for walking my dogs, and it was quite dirty. On the positive side, it was right off the highway, near the OPP station, and had a large flat-screen TV with plenty of channels, a fridge, and a microwave. The dining experience was subpar, especially considering the price paid. The facilities were average but could use some improvement in terms of value for money.
The hotel has some room for improvement in terms of room furnishings and maintenance but offers decent service and a convenient location. The dining experience may not fully justify the price paid. The facilities are adequate for a short stay.
